Instructional Suturing Sequence

Traditionally inked suturing sequence, designed and illustrated for a surgical manual for medical students.

  • The goal of this project was to create a create a concise visual description of a suturing technique, called the running-x suture, that could be published in a surgical training manual suitable for medical students.

    The suturing technique was visually demonstrated for the class, where students took notes and created quick sketches that were used to ID the suture and referenced for the final sequence.
